Some of us struggle with the lack of sleep and some with lack of energy in mornings. We look for a drink that soothe us when we feel tired or when we are unwell. And here are two variations of comforting drinks you can try.

Ingredients needed:

  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. Teaveli golden milk powder
  • Some ice
  • Cooled coffee


In a small saucepan, heat some almond milk. Almond milk is a preferred alternative for those who are either on keto diet or vegan diet. For both of these diets, animal dairy products are forbidden and hence almond provides a tasty plant-based alternative.       

    Add honey and golden milk powder to it. In addition, of course, some freshly ground turmeric, pepper, and cinnamon can add magic to the recipe. Heat it on low flame and keep stirring in between until the mixture starts steaming. You wouldn’t want to drink lumps of turmeric in your drink, would you? That is why consistent stirring becomes important.

    Once the mixture is cooled. Take a glass with ice at the bottom and pour some coffee in it. Either coffee mixed with milk or a decoction – both can do the same job. Time to final mix our cooled down golden almond milk in the mixture and add more honey if needed before serving. It is a perfect drink for the summer and a way to fool your kids into drinking golden milk. Sometimes turmeric milk may not sound an inviting drink to kids.   • 2 cups Coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp. Teaveli golden milk powder
  • ¼ tsp. ginger
  • ¼ tsp. cardamom
  • Stevia to taste
  • 1 anise star


Add all ingredients in a teapot and heat on low flame. Keep stirring to ensure that the spices mix properly. Strain to remove any lumps and serve it hot. This simple tea recipe can act as a base for some other recipes involving golden milk as well. It is a good practice to have golden milk tea as the first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. The detoxification works best at this time. To be specific, the first 15 minutes of wake up time is most crucial. Having a healthy drink, like golden milk, at this time will not only have the best effect on the body but also on the mind.

    A great reason to have the golden milk tea is that it is a very good blood purifier.
