3 Outstanding Turmeric Golden Milk Recipes You Will Love To Repeat

Every time we pick up Golden Milk Powder, we are surprised by its versatility and benefits. You can add it to almost anything and raise the level of taste and health in that dish.

Here are some quick and easy recipes that stand out of them all. They are so easy, you will love to repeat them. Whether you make it for yourself, your family or for guests, these recipes are going to please everybody. Add your favorite essence to it for some variation in color and flavors. Vanilla, strawberry, pomegranate are great choices to be added to any of the three recipes listed below.

Ingredients needed:

  • 1/2 liter coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp Golden Milk powder
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 3 Cinnamons peeled
  • Fresh ground turmeric for garnish

Heat coconut milk in a pot and add golden milk powder after it comes to boil. Leave the flame to low and start adding the ripped open seeds from Cardamom. It’s up to you to add some more of Cinnamon or any other complementary spice of your taste. Golden milk when heated and mixed with such flavors as this becomes interesting to kids and also patients who are hesitant to try it out.

Traditionally Golden Milk is known to be anti-inflammatory. It is a great remedy to the common cold. It supports clear the skin from inside. Ever noticed how many cosmetics for the face are listing turmeric on its list of constituents lately? This is a pretty good reason for it. And hey, if you have trouble sleeping, golden milk powder with milk or coconut oil will do wonders to get you into a comfortable sleep.

Now, to balance the spices, let’s add 1 tbsp of Honey to the boiling mixture. Boil this mixture on low flame for some time. It doesn’t take too much time to get done. Consider it only as simple as making a coffee. And last but not least, how can we forget the garnish. Grate some fresh turmeric on this golden milk mixture for the final effect.

Ingredients needed:

  • A cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Teaveli golden milk powder
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • A scoop of vanilla ice cream

Chill the ice cream in a freezer before starting with the procedure to blend the milkshake. Now, put the milk and the money and start the blender. Honey is a healthy and tasty alternative to sugar. Now add some ground ginger and blend some more. Ginger, though already a part of the Teaveli Golden Milk Powder, has to be added to fresh slices as well here. Adding some fresh ginger is optional, but it enhances the dominance of the great yellow healing spice in this milkshake.

Time to put the Teaveli golden milk powder in the milkshake. This golden milk powder contains a balance of turmeric, pepper, and cinnamon to create a perfect taste. Why pepper you may ask? Turmeric on its own does not get digested easily by the body. Some pepper when taken with turmeric, aids the body to digest while reaping the brilliant benefits of pepper as a spice as well. Often in Indian cuisine, many spices accompany turmeric to help it digest better.

Time to add the cold ice cream and blend further with the ready mixture. Pour into some glass milkshake jars and enjoy it on a warm summer afternoon. We used a simple vanilla ice cream but choose a flavor that suits you. A warning - not all flavors go easily with a tinge of turmeric. Mint or vanilla favors would be a safe and tasty bet, we think.

Ingredients needed:

  • A cup of oat flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • A cup of milk
  • 1 tsp Teaveli golden milk powder
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp honey

Mix coconut and oats flour in a bowl along with Teaveli golden milk powder and add some honey to sweeten. This recipe can’t be adapted to a different flour because the health factor will really get lost if done so. Plus most of the other flours will need cooking whereas this one consists of oats and coconut flours that are not required to be cooked.

Heat some butter with the applesauce and pour it into the flour mixture. This is where the taste lies. And this is why a sugar addition is omitted. Though applesauce used here has no sugar, the fruit itself provides the required sweetness and stickiness for the golden milk bites to ball up together. Now, pour milk to blend the mixture well and make the density such that they could be rolled into small balls for a bite at a party or a gathering. Cool the golden milk treat balls in a refrigerator before serving.

Look at it this way, this is a delicious, quick to make a treat for any party that you are hosting. A lot of treats can be made with very little effort and in a very short time. A total win-win we would say. Pair it up with some simple salty snack and there you have a perfect platter to host a mini party. Give it a try and see if it tickles your taste buds and those of your guests as well.
